Tammie Johnson has been a dedicated member of the Palatka Kids team since July 1988. With over three decades of experience, she brings unmatched expertise and passion to her role as Director.

Tammie holds both a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and Director's Credentials, showcasing her commitment to early childhood education. Additionally, she plays a vital role as a VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) teacher, helping to lay a strong foundation for young learners.

Outside of work, Tammie treasures her family time. She is a proud mother to her son and a loving grandmother to three energetic grandsons. Family is her greatest joy, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.

Tammie's longstanding dedication, professional achievements, and love for her family make her an invaluable leader and mentor at Palatka Kids.

Richay Curry is the dedicated and passionate director of Palatka Kids Academy, where she’s been making a difference in children’s lives for an incredible 10 years—the same amount of time she’s been in childcare!

Living in Palatka with her three wonderful kids, Richay thrives on the challenges of leadership and loves helping navigate the twists and turns that come with her position. Her favorite part? Being a leader and exploring creative ways to make every day better for her school.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find Richay indulging in her many hobbies, which range from babysitting and traveling to crafting custom T-shirts, whipping up culinary delights, and styling hair.

Richay’s fun facts reflect her vibrant personality: she’s a fan of all kinds of music, adores the movie Elf, and can’t resist a flavorful Buffalo chicken salad.

With her love for creativity, leadership, and her community, Richay brings heart and energy to everything she does!
